Guides, tips & FAQ
Combine PDFs for applications and email
Applications and email threads often need one PDF — mark sheets plus certificates, or several signed pages in order — instead of separate attachments. Upload up to ten PDFs, drag to reorder, and merge locally without sending files to our servers. Each source PDF keeps its page content; the tool stitches files sequentially. If the merged file exceeds a portal or email size limit, compress it before submitting. For image-only documents, convert photos to PDF first, then merge.
How to merge PDFs online
- Upload your PDFs: Drop files into the dashed area or choose them from your device — up to 10 PDFs, 25 MB each.
- Reorder: Use the up and down controls next to each file so pages appear in the order you need.
- Merge: Click Merge to combine every file in list order locally in your browser.
- Download: Review file count, total pages, and output size, then download the merged PDF.
Need to optimize after merging?
If your merged document is too large for email, try our PDF Compressor or split it into smaller parts.
Before you submit
Merged file size is roughly the sum of your inputs — it can exceed email or portal limits even when each source PDF was small. Use Compress PDF before uploading, or split sections with Split PDF if the form expects separate files.
Image-only documents should be converted with JPG to PDF first, then merged here.
