Spreadsheet data locked in a PDF is tedious to retype — this tool pulls text rows from text-based PDFs into an Excel workbook in your browser. It is not OCR: scanned pages photographed as images will not produce columns. Layout and merged cells from the original PDF are not reconstructed faithfully. Use it when you have a digital PDF with selectable text and need a quick editable export. For forms that require PDF upload, convert back or copy values after verification.

- Upload your PDF: Drop a text-based PDF into the dashed area or choose one from your device (up to 25MB, 15 pages).
- Extract data: Click Extract Data. The tool reads text positions with PDF.js and groups lines into spreadsheet rows in your browser — nothing is uploaded to our servers.
- Preview the table: Review the first 15 rows. Column alignment is approximate; merged cells and complex layouts may not match the original PDF.
- Download Excel: When the preview looks usable, download the full .xlsx workbook. Use Try another to convert a different file.
