Image Optimization
Resize, crop, and compress images in your browser.
What these image tools do
These pages resize, crop, or recompress a photo in the browser. The KB tools (20 KB, 50 KB, and 100 KB) aim at a file-size ceiling used by many Indian exam and admission portals. Resize Image sets pixel width and height. Crop Image cuts a rectangle. Signature resize is for a handwritten scan, not a cryptographic signature. HEIC to JPG decodes Apple photos with heic2any. WebP Converter uses the browser Canvas codecs when they exist.
A KB target is a ceiling, not a promise of an exact byte count. Aggressive compression softens faces. Open the result at 100% zoom before you upload it. Portals also reject the wrong format: many want JPEG, not PNG, HEIC, or WebP.
How to use it
- Read the notification for pixels, aspect ratio, and the maximum KB. Those numbers come from the exam body, not from this site.
- If the aspect ratio is wrong, crop or resize to the stated width and height first.
- If the file is still over the KB cap, open the matching KB tool and download the smaller JPEG.
- Check the face, the background, and the file size on your device, then upload that file.
The file is read and processed in your browser. GetFixMyFile does not upload it to a conversion server.
