What Organize PDF pages does
Organize PDF pages shows the document as a thumbnail grid so you can delete pages, change their order, and rotate individual pages before you download one PDF. Merge PDF only joins whole files. Split PDF extracts a range or every page. Rotate PDF turns every page by the same angle. This page is the one to use when a packet has a blank scan, a sideways page, or pages in the wrong order.
Thumbnails are drawn lazily. Pages you have not scrolled to are not rendered yet, and the rendering work runs in a background task when the browser allows it, so a file of about 100 pages should stay usable. The export uses pdf-lib to copy the pages you kept, in the order you left them, and to add your rotation on top of any rotation already stored in the file. Deleted pages are not in the download. The original file on your device is not overwritten until you save the download over it yourself.
Password-protected PDFs are not opened here. Unlock them first if you know the password. The page stops at 120 pages and 40 MB so a huge scan does not freeze the tab. If you only need every page as its own file, use Split PDF. If you need to combine several PDFs and then fix the order inside the result, merge first and organize second.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF. Wait until the page count appears. Thumbnails fill in as they scroll into view.
- Drag a page by its handle, or use Move earlier and Move later. Alt plus the arrow keys does the same move when a page card is focused.
- Rotate or delete the pages you do not want. Deleting only affects the download.
- Download and check the first and last pages, plus any page you rotated, before you send the file.
The PDF stays in this browser tab. Page thumbnails are created locally and are not uploaded.
